The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, the new Disney Vacation Club property coming to Disney World, will feature a new restaurant and a splash area themed to Moana.
The 10-story tower, which is currently under construction, is expected to open to guests on Dec. 17.

With decor and design elements inspired by the Polynesian Islands, the tower will feature Wailulu Bar & Grill, a restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating with views of Seven Seas Lagoon. It will also have a casual walk-up pool bar.
The restaurant will offer grab-and-go options like coffee and pastries for breakfast as well as an all-day menu for lunch and dinner.
Polynesian-inspired artwork will be featured throughout the dining room, including floating fish sculptures made from recycled materials. Moana will also be featured in a painting on display inside the restaurant.

The Island Tower will also offer Moana’s Voyage, a splash area for younger guests with life-sized sculptures of Moana and her canoe. Guests will also be able to swim in the zero-entry Cove Pool.
Disney Vacation Club also revealed artwork for the tower’s Terrace Gardens. These four exclusive spaces will feature artwork, foliage and themed seating. Each garden will offer views of Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia golf courses or Seven Seas Lagoon.
In June, Disney shared a first look at the tower’s guest rooms, which include duo studios, one- and two-bedroom villas and a new two-bedroom penthouse villas.
