A preview center for Universal Orlando’s forthcoming Epic Universe theme park will open next month, the resort revealed Wednesday.
The center will be located at CityWalk in the building that previously housed the Universal Legacy Store.
Inside, Universal says there will be a “massive” model of Epic Universe that will give visitors an up-close, “bird’s eye view” of the park’s attractions and other experiences.
The center will also have an interactive component to it, as well as an augmented reality experience that will allow parts of the model to “come to life.”
Visitors can also purchase Epic Universe merchandise and pose for pictures in front of backdrops themed to the park’s five lands— Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, How to Train You Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and Dark Universe.
The new park—expected to open in 2025—will also include restaurants, gift shops and a in-park hotel called Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel.
