Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT has temporariy closed so that Disney can remove the 3D and make other changes.

The ride, which is located in the France pavilion section of the park, will be converted to 2D visuals, Disney previously said.

The removal of 3D means 3D glasses will no longer be needed to experience the special effects on the screens throughout the ride.

After the brief four-day refurbishment, the ride is scheduled to reopen Friday with “enhanced visuals” and “clearer imagery.” Disney also said new lighting and props will be added to the attraction and the queue in the coming months.

Ratatouile: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, the Ratatouille attraction at Disneyland Paris, is getting similar updates.

EPCOT’s Ratatouille is the latest attraction at the park to undergo an update. Spaceship Earth recently reopened from a two-month refurbishment that included routine maintenance and minor adjustments to some scenes.
