For this year’s holiday season, Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando’s water park, is holding a new after-hours event called Illuminate.
The nighttime event is set to begin Nov. 8 and run select nights through Jan. 31.
Illuminate will feature colorful lanterns and several activities that visitors can enjoy.
Around the park, there will be five themed environments: AquaLuma (highlighting the legend of five animal guardians), Candy Cascade Falls (featuring giant gummy bears and sparkling lollipops), Enchanted Lagoon (with a mermaid and a sea unicorn), Myst Wood Waters (featuring a giant Tree of Light and color-shifting chameleons) and Rivers of Discovery (a lantern safari with with flamingos, giraffes and lions).

The event will also include a mini Serengeti Express train, a New Zealand-inspired Santa meet and greet, a lantern craft zone and s’more stations. Other food offerings on the menu include brisket Mac & Cheese, pork belly tacos, s’mores pizza and apple cider churros.
“Illuminate is unlike anything we’ve ever done at Aquatica,” said Bradley Gilmour, president of Aquatica Orlando. “We can’t wait for family to create glowing holiday memories in a setting that feel worlds away, yet right here in Orlando.”
Tickets for Illuminate are now on sale. Prices range between $29.99 and $31.99, depending on the date. Discounts and other special rates are available to Pass Members.
