Universal has revealed its first themed experience for the 2025 edition of Halloween Horror Nights.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s” will be part of the lineup at the after-hours event at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando, the company announced Sunday night.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s,” which started as a video game, centers on deadly animatronics from a family pizzeria that that come to live. Universal and Blumhouse released a movie in 2023 and the sequel is set to be released this December.
Universal said the franchise will be coming to HHN “in a whole new way” but didn’t specify if it would a haunted house, scare zone or something else. Details, Universal has promised, are coming soon.
No other details about this year’s event have been released.
Halloween Horror Nights will run select nights Aug. 29 through Nov. 2 in Orlando and Sept. 4 through Nov. 2 in Hollywood.
